About HolisticalVets
We created HolisticalVets to bring holistic treatment options, Quality of Life consultations, and in-home euthanasia services to pets in Somerset County, Middlesex County, Mercer County, Monmouth County, Ocean County, Burlington County, Camden County, Gloucester County, Salem County, Cumberland County, Atlantic County, and Cape May County in New Jersey without having to deal with the usually hectic schedules seen at regular brick-and-mortar veterinary clinics (back-to-back 15-minute appointments seriously give us nightmares).
Our goal is to place the focus back on your pet, make him or her the center of our attention, and provide the additional time that he or she may need… whether that’s extra time to help reduce anxiety and help your pet get comfortable or extra time to give hugs, pets, and cuddles. Definitely some nose boops too.
We want to help animals in an environment they feel comfortable and safe in, which is why we decided to focus on being mobile. In addition, we also wanted to be able to devote 1–2 hours of in-person time with your pet since less time spent focusing on the clock means more time putting the focus on where it should be: your pet.
We also wanted to help animals regardless of their species. We spent years gaining additional experience with various species, including exotic species, birds, wildlife, and zoo animals, and apparently our favorite species to spend time with is… all of them. 😊😂
“Holism/holistic” starts from within, so we just want to increase all the good stuff that focuses more on the “within” and helps us do our job better, while decreasing all the stuff that takes away from that.

In order to accomplish those goals, in addition to the 8 years of schooling required to become a veterinarian, we also underwent countless hours of additional training and education to become proficient in veterinary acupuncture, Tui-na, food therapy, and herbal therapy and obtained certifications in veterinary acupuncture (CVA) and food therapy (CVFT), with certifications in Tui-na and herbal therapy coming soon.
When it comes to our in-home pet euthanasia services, we place a strong emphasis on expertise, kindness, and compassion. We have completed extensive post-graduate euthanasia education and hands-on training through CAETA (Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy), one of the leading programs dedicated to best practices in gentle, low-stress euthanasia. This additional training allows us to provide a peaceful process that prioritizes comfort, minimizes anxiety or pain, and supports families every step of the way.
We’re also Fear Free certified, which means we underwent further education to learn how to minimize fear, anxiety, or stress a pet may feel, and we’re members of AHVMA (American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association), AAVA (American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture), and AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association).
Our commitment to your pet’s well-being begins long before we meet them, and our dedication to providing peaceful, compassionate veterinary services and end-of-life care is at the heart of everything we do.
